Central varsity Minister to lay foundation stone

SHIMLA: Eight years after starting operations from a temporary campus, Central University of Himachal Pradesh can finally expect a permanent campus. Announcement of the opening of the university in every state without a central university was made on August 15, 2007. Education minister Suresh Bhardwaj is going to Dharamshala to oversee arrangements and complete formalities to lay the foundation stone of the campus. The Central University has been a sensitive issue for both the BJP and Congress, especially in Kangra district.
