SHIMLA: Former chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC), Major General Chander Mohan Sharma (retd) allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself at his residence in Jakhu area of Shimla on Thursday night. Sharma had commanded an artillery regiment in Ladakh and an artillery brigade in the insurgency environment of Jammu and Kashmir .
