Summary:

SHIMLA: Uri came to Himachal Pradesh capital with 'josh" on Tuesday, when Congress's Kinnaur MLA Jagat Singh Negi confronted chief minister Jai Ram Thakur on budget estimates during a discussion in the assembly.Twisting the dialogue "How's the josh" from Bollywood film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', Negi claimed "there's no Josh at all" after the budget estimates presented in the House on Saturday. He pointed out another first in the House, saying the ruling party had issue a whip for MLAs to thump the table during budget presentation. "Ruling members thumped the tables so loudly that I saw some of them not being able to use them properly at lunch time," he added. When interrupted by the BJP members, Negi was quick to allege "intolerance". He said the budget even missed the essence of "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas" slogan as there was no mention of schemes for scheduled castes and other backward classes. He said, "A member of scheduled tribe community is not being allowed to speak.".
