DHARAMSHALA: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBoSE) is going to amend the syllabus in study books of students by introducing the martyrdom by the local youths while serving the country and safeguarding the national borders.The study books of the students will have a portion focused particularly on Himachal Pradesh. Terror attacks at Pulwama in Jammu & Kashmir and on Pathankot airbase in Punjab witnessed the martyrdom from the youths of the hill state. The books will have the chapters about martyrs from the state. The amendments in the syllabus are proposed after the examinations are over. There are also many youths of this region who attained martyrdom during the Kargil war.Apart from this, the authorities are also mulling options to introduce wellness activities in schools soon during bag free days..
