SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh leader of opposition, Prem Kumar Dhumal said that during UPA regime, hill state was getting financial assistance of Rs 20,600 crore while under NDA government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, financial assistance of Rs 1.25 lakh crore is being provided to the state for developmental activities. He said that despite 6 times increase in allotment, Congress government led by chief minister Virbhadra Singh has failed to ensure the development of state.While addressing the "Parivartan Rath Yatra" at Baldeyan in Shimla, Dhumal said that Virbhadra Singh is announcing projects without making any budgetary provisions for them only to mislead the people. He said that in last four and half years only announcements have been made just to befool the people of the state.He alleged that barring mafias, others are not happy with the Congress government in the state. He said that results of Shimla Municipal Corporation has set the tone for coming assembly elections and exit of Congress from power is inevitable as every section of society is fed up with the wrong policies of state government..
