4.2% voting in final phase of Jammu & Kashmir civic polls

SRINAGAR: A dismal 4.2 percent votes were polled in the fourth and final phase of municipal elections in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.Polling was held amid a shutdown ordered by separatists in Srinagar, Ganderbal and Pulwama districts of the Kashmir valley. The police and CRPF men chased away the mob by using tear gas shells and resorting to lathi charge. All the shops and business establishments remained closed in the poll bound areas.
