Kholwad firing case Two held

SURAT: District local crime branch officials on Monday caught two persons who were involved in firing at Harun Taily, sarpanch of Kholwad, on August 18 in his village. One accused was held by people from the spot and handed over to the police on the day of incident. The accused were identified as Dhiraj alias Pankaj Pandey, 20, a labourer, and Ramabhai Mer (Bharwad), who had given the Rs15 lakh contract for killing Harun. Police seized a country- made pistol worth Rs10,000, which was used to fire at the victim and a mobile phone from Pandey.Rama Mer had an old enmity with Harun, police said..
