MUMBAI: Molestation cases on Mumbai trains have surged 87% in the first nine months of this year compared to 2016. "It's not so much about sexual gratification but feeling a sense of power among those involved in molestation cases. More cases of rape and molestation were reported in the Mumbai commissionerate than those in Pune, Nagpur and Aurangabad put together in the past two years.While 63 molestation cases were reported on Mumbai trains in January-September 2016, the figure shot up to 118 this year.
