Mumbai: Mornings get cooler but afternoons are hotter

MUMBAI: The city woke up to a cooler morning on Friday as minimum temperatures dipped to 19.2 degrees Celsius. Pune and Nashik were over three degrees higher than them. The coldest stations were Bhilwara in Rajasthan and Adilabad in Telangana, where night temperature dipped to 8.2 degrees. But the chill was shortlived as the maximum temperature soared by afternoon India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) Santacruz observatory said the minimum temperature was 2.3 degrees below normal on Friday morning.
