THANE A 46-year-old BEST driver was robbed of Rs 5,400 by an auto-rickshaw driver and two of his accomplices.The police said, the 46-year-old Devanand Jadhav , a Diva resident, took an auto-rickshaw from Majiwada naka at around 11pm on Wednesday. Two passengers were already there in the auto-rickshaw beofre Jadhav boarded it.A little ahead of Saket bridge, the auto driver stopped the vehicle and asked for money. The victim resisted but in vain as one of them pulled out a knife.Due to darkness, Jadhav could note down the vehicle's registration number.A case has been registered at Kapurbawdi police station and further probe is under way..
