2 held with 25kg drugs worth Rs 3 crore

THANE: Two drug peddlers were arrested and 25kg ephedrine worth Rs 3 crore was seized from Bhayander on Saturday. The rural police has identified the accused as Yogesh Shah and Sadev Jamadar. While Shah is a cloth merchant, the other accused is an auto driver, said Thane rural SP Shivaji Rathod.The police said that they had received a tip-off that two men were going to come to a hotel in Bhayander with the contraband.
