Mumbai 1300 new COVID 19 cases but active cases less than 20000

Maharashtra crossed 5 lakh COVID-19 cases on Saturday, even as the state recorded its highest daily count of more than 12,800 cases. After a dip for a couple of days, Mumbai's daily count rose to more than 1,300 cases, while Pune continued to lead with 1,894 cases. A high count of cases was seen in other districts as well—Nashik (736), Jalgaon (656), Ahmednagar (607) and Thane (536). While there are 1.47 lakh COVID-19 patients who are currently being treated in the state, Mumbai's count of active cases is less than 20,000, and it ranks third highest after Pune with 41,266 and Thane with 22,943 active cases.
