In an unfortunate event on Monday at least seven people were feared trapped after a one storey building collapsed in Bhiwandi. After receiving information the police and Bhiwandi fire station officers with three fire engines immediately rushed to the spot. Officials of RDMC Thane fire brigade with 1 Emergency Tender Thane Disaster Response Force (15 personnel) are also present at the incident spot. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team has been called for the same.
