The artist, a native of Kunhimangalam in Kannur, started mouth painting at the age of 17 and has since held several exhibitions. Sunitha will hold live painting sessions on March 3 and 4 from 11 am to 12 noon. Sunitha has displayed 40 of her paintings at Lalithakala Akademi Art Gallery, Vyloppilly Samskriti Bhavan — all drawn with a brush held in her mouth. A recipient of the President’s award for outstanding creative adult person with disabilities (2017), Sunitha expresses her love for nature and landscape through her paintings..
