Teachers to be trained to tackle adolescence issues

Summary:

That programme had focussed on equipping the “career masters” to manage adolescence issues (family issues, peer group issues, sex-related problems and mental health issues), inter-personal relationships and to be effectively assertive. The LEP would feature modules on understanding adolescent behaviour, classroom management, and finance management, among others. There were also sessions on counselling and on legal issues relating to children. The CEP is scheduled to be launched by the end of May or in June, 2018.
