Thiruvananthapuram: The capital city is all set to host the 11th edition of International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala ( IDSFFK ) from Friday. A total of 64 productions will be screened in the competitive section, including long documentaries, short documentaries, short fiction and campus film categories. Noted documentary director Rakesh Sharma will be the chief guest of the function.“Around 850 delegates have registered for the festival. Best short documentary will get Rs 1 lakh and second best documentary will get Rs 50,000 and citation,” said chalachitra academy chairman Kamal.The festival will open with a documentary directed by Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei..
