598 people in 10 relief camps in district

Vasuki said the decision came in the wake of a government order seeking officials’ cooperation in ensuring that relief activities were not affected by the holidays. Five camps are open in Thiruvananthapuram taluk which was affected the most by the waterlogging. Two camps are functioning in Nedumangad and one each in Neyyattinkara and Varkala taluks..
