Restrictions will be in force from 5pm till the procession concludes.The procession for Ganeshotsavam will begin with a cultural convention at Pazhavangadi at 4pm. Thiruvananthapuram: The city traffic police announced traffic diversion in East Fort-Statue-Asan Square- Pattoor-Pettah-Chackai-All Saints-Sanghumukham road on Tuesday evening in view of procession for immersion of idols of Lord Ganesh as part of Ganeshotsavam.No parking will be allowed on left side of the road. Vehicles coming from Neyyatinkara and Parassala side must take Karamana-Killipalam-Attakulangara route, those from Kovalam and Vizhinjam must take Thiruvallam-Ambalathara-Attakulangara route and from Nedumangad must take Vellayambalam-Vazhutacaud-Thycaud flyover-Choorakkattu Palyam-Powerhouse Road-Thakarapparambu flyover-Vazhappally-Fort route.
