Thiruvananthapuram: NDA’s long march , led by BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai protesting against lifting restrictions to women of all ages women to enter Sabarimala , will reach the capital on Sunday.After entering via Alamcode near Attingal at 10am, the agitators will halt for a day at Kazhakoottam. Those going to East Fort and Thampanoor from Attingal through NH 66 must take diversion at Kuzhivila and go via Ulloor, Medical College, Kannammoola, Pattoor, Asan Square and Underpass.Motorists moving towards MC Road and NH 66 from Thampanoor are directed to take the route via Bakery Junction, Underpass, Pettah and Chackai. The regulations would be impromptu as it’s a holiday, said police.On Monday, there will be restrictions in effect on major roads including the stretches connecting Kazhakkoottam, Sreekariyam, Ulloor, Kesavadasapuram, Pattom and Vellayambalam, Museum, Statue, Ayurveda College and Overbridge.Motorists from Nedumangad moving towards Thampanoor and East Fort are directed divert at Peroorkaada and movealong Pipinmoodu, Sasthamangalam and SMC junction..
