KITE deploys LED TVs at hi-tech schools

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education ( KITE ) has completed deploying 43-inch LED TVs in government and aided high schools, higher secondary and vocational higher secondary schools as part of the hi-tech school project. Every school would be provided with a self-explanatory video tutorial detailing the above facts. The installation of TVs in 4,206 schools would be completed by November 30. Along with this, the distribution of DSLR cameras for 4,578 schools has also commenced.“The digital cameras provided to schools are to be used for covering programmes conducted at schools, preparing digital resources, creating school news for KITE VICTERS channel, updating school wiki, making telefilms, among others,” said K Anvar Sadath, vice-chairman and executive director, KITE.KITE has arranged trainings on using camera, preparing digital content, video editing, broadcasting, among others for ‘little KITEs’ members and selected teachers in schools..
