Trivandrum to intensify drive against street vendors squatting on footpaths

The corporation is now set to intensify the drive against the illegal street vendors who have taken over footpaths in various parts of the city, obstructing pedestrian movement. So we have decided to conduct an eviction drive of street vendors in the coming days,” said the mayor. The by-law for street vendors as per the latest gazette notification of the state government needs to be finalised by the corporation.
