Campaign Against the State: Health Minister Defends Attack On Spiking Covid Cases

With the continuous allege against the mismanagement of Covid in the state, Kerala, Kerala health minister Veena George said that no one in the state had died without oxygen or without getting an ICU bed or hospital.

She calls it a “campaign against the state" which is unfortunate.

She also hailed the “effective" plan and system of the Kerala government to combat Covid-19.

“It’s quite unfortunate that there is such a campaign.

In the state, no one died without getting oxygen, or without getting an ICU bed or hospital.

Our defense system and our plan proved effective.

Virologists and experts from different parts of the country are saying that Kerala’s strategy is different and is quite effective.

Our system and plan are effective," said the minister.

For three consecutive days, Kerala has reported over 22,000 Covid cases.
