Ramesh Chennithala blames cops for ‘derailing’ case

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala , on Tuesday, blamed the police for not initiating any action based on actor Dileep 's complaint. Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan should also be blamed for this as he openly declared in a public meeting that 'there is no conspiracy' in the case. "The police has bungled the case by not taking any steps to investigate into the complaint raised by Dileep,'' said Chennithala The Congress leader said it is a failure on the part of the state police force that the investigation has reached nowhere so far. "This open judgement by the chief minister who is holding the home portfolio has influenced the investigation and in a way has derailed the entire investigation in the case,'' said Chennithala.Usually no one who is heading the home department comments on such controversial cases openly and that too in a public meeting..
