30 hurt in bus collision

when the driver of the bus headed for Puthenpalam from Nedumangad lost control of the vehicle and collided with another bus. They are under treatment at the critical care unit of the hospital, official sources said. They were identified as Jayalakshmi, 26, and Thulasi, 46, of Vattiyurkavu; Chinnamma, 61, and Valsala, 56, of Vithura; and Babu, 65, and Udayan, 50 of Valiyamala. While most of the injured were taken to a hospital at Nedumangad, six of them were rushed to the Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College Hospital with serious injuries..
