TRICHY: Three major trade unions seem to have expressed interest in moving to the integrated vegetable market complex in Kallikudi from the congested Gandhi Market here. Labourers may have felt job insecurity since their reluctance to move out of Gandhi Market may push traders to employ available local workforce in Kallikudi,” CPI district secretary K Suresh said.It may be noted that most of the trade unions had been protesting the relocation of the market ever since the proposal to relocate to it was floated in 2014..
