TRICHY: Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy on Monday said water will be released from Mettur dam for irrigation once the storage level reaches 90 feet.Talking to reporters at Trichy airport, the chief minister said, “Everyone knows that water can be released only after the level touches 90 feet. However, he denied rumours that Tamilselvan would be given a ministerial berth. Letters have already been sent to the Prime Minister and water resource minister,” said the CM.Reacting to the rumours about rebel MLA Thanga Tamilselvan joining his camp, the chief minister said such a move would be welcomed.
