City cops will not spare wrongly parked vehicles

Trichy | Monday | 16th July, 2018

Summary:

Acting on complaints, city traffic police locked the wheels of around 10-12 two-wheelers parked on a portion of the Collector Office Road and Royals Road. Traffic police found fault with the organisers of both the events for not bothering about the vehicles parked outside the school campus. "We have planned to continue the penalisation drive against parking violations across the city. After drawing flak from public for not acting against parking violations, Trichy city police on Sunday penalised at least a dozen two-wheelers parked on ‘no parking’ zones near Major Saravanan Roundabout. Two-wheelers found parked on no parking zones would be chained and locked," a senior traffic police official told TOI..
