Trichy: Thiruverumbur police booked the founder of Attica Gold Company, Bommanhalli Babu, and arrested two of his employees at the Namakkal branch on Friday night for buying stolen gold jewellery. The woman was robbed of gold jewellery worth three sovereigns by the trio on July 4. He said that preliminary investigation revealed that the company bought about 50 sovereigns of jewellery from the couple. Pandi and his two men would operate in the night robbing jewellery at knife point.
