The State government had been executing welfare programs and development works planned by Jayalalithaa. Speaking at the inaugural of two-day ‘Saral Vizha’ at Suruli falls, he said that the waterfall was unique in several ways and the water not only contained minerals but also had medicinal value. For instance, the government was contemplating implementation of road project between Sakkaluthu and Cumbum Mettu as it would benefit people here..
