Calligraphy pilot project catches fancy of students in city school

Saritha Manoj, 40, who heads Mansa Calligraphy, said, “Many schools find calligraphy irrelevant given the huge curriculum. About 12-odd resources persons — all of them college students trained by Saritha — are handling the classes. While the classes were free of cost for the students in Syed Murtaza school, she has been taking calligraphy classes for some private schools in Trichy as well.
