TRICHY: Two Tangedco workers suffered electric shock while repairing a transformer near Kalamavur in Pudukkottai district on Tuesday.Murugesan and Mohan, both hailing Namakkal district, were deputed to carry out repair work of transformers in the cyclone Gaja-ravaged Pudukkottai. MGMGH dean G Anitha told TOI that both of them had sustained “severe electric shock.”“They are kept under constant observation in the intensive care unit. The condition of Murugesan is critical,” she said.
