No more all-whites: Nurses in TN soon to sport colourful uniforms in hospitals

The uniform for male nurses too has got a makeover according to a government order passed recently. Uniforms for all would carry a name badge and also the logo of “Tamil Nadu government nursing”. TRICHY: The all-white ensemble of government nurses’ uniform in Tamil Nadu is all set to become history as it will be replaced by colourful outfits including shirt and trousers, chudidhar and sari for female nurses. On the other hand, female nursing superintendent grade II and grade I will be sporting pink and pista green sari respectively. Nurses with over 10 years of experience and female nursing superintendent grade II and grade I will be provided overcoats as well..
