Trichy: Arrangements are being made to accommodate more than one lakh spectators at the Viralimalai jallikattu venue in Pudukottai, said health minister C Vijaya Baskar on Friday.Inspecting the Ammankulam jallikattu thidal on Friday he said 500 bull tamers have registered so far for the event and 2000 bulls are expected to participate from across the state. All necessary safety arrangements would be in place as per directions from Supreme Court, the minister added. Viralimalai will be the first official venue to host jallikattu this year in Pudukottai on January 20.A team from world book of records will also be visiting the venue on the day as steps are being taken to record the highest number of spectators and bulls present at the event, he said..
