Vadodara railway division bags four GM shields

VADODARA: The Vadodara railway division of Western Railways recently bagged four General Manager-level shields.The railway division bagged the shields during the Western Railways’ 63rd Railway Week Award ceremony that was held at the Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan Hall in South Mumbai The Vadodara railway division has bagged the EnHM shield for best environment and home management and the scrape mobilisation shield.The division has also jointly won the commercial shield with Ahmedabad railway division and the safety shield with the Rajkot railway division.Amit Kumar Singh, the divisional railway manager and his team received the award from AK Gupta, general manager of Western Railways.The railway division on Monday also organised 63rd Railway Week Award ceremony at the railway auditorium at Pratapnagar in the city during which a total of 240 railway employees of the division were felicitated while 15 teams were conferred group awards for their contribution.The railway division has conferred the best railway station award in ‘A’ category to Vadodara railway station, in ‘B’ category to Godhra railway station, in ‘D’ category to Miyagam railway station and in ‘E’ category to Champaner railway station..
