Vadodara: A massive fire broke out in a plastic godown at Makarpura GIDC on Friday midnight. “The entire godown was filled with plastic materials due to which the fire spread very quickly. We had to separate the unburnt plastic, otherwise the fire would have spread further,” said Nikunj Azad, fire officer, Makarpura GIDC fire station.Sources in the fire department said besides the plastic waste, some machinery over there was also charred.
