Vadodara: Liquor stock worth Rs 30 lakh was seized by rapid response (RR) cell of Vadodara range police near Karjan toll plaza on NH48 on Tuesday afternoon. The cops found 16,284 bottles and cans of beer and liquor from the truck. Acting on the information, RR cell sleuths were keeping a watch near the toll plaza on Tuesday morning and when the truck arrived, they stopped it. Police said that the seized stock was manufactured at distilleries in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana.When cops questioned Mansuri, he told the police that he was asked to call a person on reaching Vadodara.
