Parents meet CP after Sama police refuse to file complaint

Vadodara: Members of Vadodara Parents’ Association met the city police commissioner Manoj Sashidhar on Tuesday after the Sama police refused to take their complaint against Navarachana School for alleged violation of Juvenile Justice Act.On Monday, the parents had sat on a ‘dharna’ outside the police station after the police inspector refused to entertain their complaint.The members told Sashidhar that the Gujarat State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (GSCPCR) had directed police complaint against managing trustees and principal of several schools in the state for issuing leaving certificates to students, allegedly for activism of their parents over fee regulation issue.After hearings, the commission had ordered to book management of Navrachana School, yet the police inspector did not take their complaint, the parents told the commissioner..
