Vadodara: A 30-year-old labourer died after he was mowed down by a dumper truck near Madaar Market in Yakutpura on Wednesday.Deceased identified as Suresh Aarad, who lives at Ajwa Road, was going for work on his motorcycle when the dumper coming from behind ran him over. A case of rash driving and causing death due to negligence was registered against the absconding truck driver at City police station. However, before people could vent their anger, the driver fled from the spot leaving the truck behind. Police reached the spot and made sure that the crowd does not turn violent and pelt stones at the truck.Cops immediately shifted Aarad’s body for post-mortem at SSG Hospital.
