NGO aims to plant 50 thousand trees within a year

VADODARA: United Way of Baroda (UWB), a non-government organization, has launched a year-long ‘I Pledge Movement’ under which it aims at planting 50,000 trees in the city.UWB has launched the movement to tackle the looming water crisis. “We want citizens to plant more trees anywhere they want because there is no restriction on planting,” he added.The NGO has already received 15,000 pledges and is approaching more people to join the programme..
