Government sanctions Rs 24cr for MSU

Of the Rs 24 crore, Rs 16.6 crore has been sanctioned for Faculty of Pharmacy while the rest will be used for extension of the head office.Presently, the university head office is a ‘U’ shape building which will turn into oval shape building. Hence, we had sought state government’s support for construction of the new building for the faculty,” said Ojha.The university has already placed work orders worth Rs 7.5 crore for construction of the multi-storied building of pharmacy faculty. After the new construction, all the cells which are presently scattered across the campus, will operate from the second floor of the university head office.Presently, offices of different cells are located at different premises of the university campus. With the extension of the head office, the examination section which is presently located on the first floor, will get an entire floor while the accounts section and the record room will be connected on the rear side of the building.The IQAC office will be located on the ground floor.
