GNFC Participates in the 10th Edition of India Chem 2018 in Mumbai

India`s first cashless township, Bharuch based Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) took part in the 10th edition of India Chem 2018 at NSE Nesco Complex, Bombay Exhibition Centre.

India Chem is a biennial international exhibition and is the largest event of Chemicals and Petrochemical industry in India, jointly organized by Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, GOI and FICCI.

Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping, Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Nitin Gadkari during the inaugural ceremony on 4th October said, it is time for the country to go for alternative fuel sources such as ethanol, methanol and bio-diesel and announced Government’s plan to start pilot project in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune and Guwahati to run electric buses on Methanol.

GNFC is the largest Methanol manufacturer in the country.

The GNFC is the market leader in the manufacturing of industrial chemicals like Toluene-Di-Isocyanate (TDI), Acetic Acid, Formic Acid, Aniline, TGU etc.  It had also participated in the past editions of India Chem.
