For artists, campus is their canvas!

Vadodara: From colourful seating arrangements for students beneath the shades of green trees using mosaic art to giving 3D effect on multi-storeyed buildings that would seem as if youth are climbing the windows; 19 artists from 15 different countries are turning a 125 acres campus into a canvas of sorts.The artists are camping at Waghodiya-based campus of Parul University as part of International Arts and Sculpture Festival that commended from February 3 giving them a chance to share the uniqueness of their talent and creativity.The artists from three continents including those from countries like Canada, Netherlands, Turkey, Belgium, China, UK, Rwanda and Australia have given a new look to the campus with their canvas paintings, mosaics, stone sculptures and textile art.Interestingly, while showcasing their creativity and cultural diversity, the artists are also grooming creativity of students of fine arts, architecture and design as the program which will conclude on Sunday includes training and coaching of the students from the expert artists.Local curator Sachin Kaluskar has curated the festival..
