Vadodara: The Mahisagar local crime branch (DCB) has busted a robbers gang and arrested two persons from Nurpur Crossroads in the district. “The gang has also tried to break in ATMs to steal the cash, the police said.Hunt has been initiated for the other gang members including their leader Umesh who plans all the crimes. The duo told the police that they have also committed loots, threatened and attacked people. When questioned, the accused admitted to have committed robberies in Mahisagar, Kheda, Surat, Rajkot, Anand, Vadodara, Morbi, Thangadh, Surendranagar, Modasa, Narmada and Panchmahals district.The gang of about 13 persons used to plan the robberies in advance. Two persons identified as Magan Dangi and Dinesh, Munia, both residents of Dahod.The duo told the police that their gang had planned to commit another robbery in Dahod but the plan didn’t work out..
