Summary:

Vadodara: Lawyers in the city have raised the issue of lack of facilities at the offices of the revenue department during the hearing of revenue cases. The memorandum states that it was being frequently noticed that unnecessary cases were being registered against lawyers using baseless allegations. The Baroda Bar Association (BBA) submitted a memorandum in this connection as well as regarding unnecessary harassment by cops.In the memorandum lawyers have alleged that there were no facilities for lawyers and their clients for hearings of revenue cases. At the other end, complaints made by advocates were not being entertained even if they were genuine. This led to time of lawyers being wasted as no hearing took place on the fixed date..
