PM Narendra Modi brings projects worth Rs 34000 crore for east UP

District magistrate of Varanasi Surendra Singh said that the PM will lay foundation of 12 projects and dedicate 21 completed projects during this programme. VARANASI: The east UP region will be showered with projects of over Rs 34,000 crore during the two-day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Saturday.While the PM will lay foundation of the ambitious Purvanchal Expressway project of over Rs 20,000 crore in Azamgarh, he will dedicate Bansagar Dam Major Canal project of over Rs 3500 crore in Mirzapur. Following this function, PM Modi will stay at DLW guest house at night. His interaction with local intellectuals is also proposed during his stay in Varanasi.On Sunday morning, the PM will leave for Mirzapur, where his chopper will land at Chandaipur helipad. Yogi also mentioned that the proposed Purvanchal Expressway will have many specialties including an airstrip near Ayodhya on which landing and take-off of the fighter jets and also Boeing planes will also be possible.From Azamgarh, the PM will reach Kachnar village in Rajatalab area of Varanasi to address a public meeting..
