VARANASI: A mathematics teacher in Azamgarh Uttar Pradesh , has been booked for filming girl students inappropriately and blackmailing them.The teacher – booked under Section 354A of IPC and 7/8 Pocso Act – has been accused of allegedly using these video clips to blackmail these students for sexual favours. Vijay Bhushan, Azamgarh-DIG, on Thursday said that in view of the serious allegation of the girl student, efforts have been intensified for the early arrest of the accused teacher. It is suspected that he had targeted around 12 girls.Taking note of the complaint, the Rani ki Sarai police lodged an FIR on Wednesday. He would then indulge in obscene activities with them and record the video for blackmailing and sexually harassing them. Four police teams have been constituted for the arrest of the accused teacher who is at large.This case came to light on Wednesday when one of the girls went to Rani ki Sarai police station in Azamgarh district to file a complaint against the teacher..
