VARANASI: One student was killed and seven others were injured when a school van was hit by a speeding car in Badlapur area of Jaunpur district on Friday. The injured students were admitted to the hospital for treatment.According to reports, the van carrying about 15 students of Samarathi Rajaram Divyang Vidyalay, Kushaha, was hit by a car. The police also reached after getting information and took the injured students to the community health centre.A class 4 student Ansh Gupta (10), of Ramnagar village was declared dead. The other injured students including Shrishti Gupta (6), Shreya Tiwari (8), Shivangi (13), Arushi (8), Adarsh (7), Deepark (5) and driver Manoj Pal were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
