Summary:
With the completion of this work, the station now has upgraded facilities and basic amenities with a more spacious waiting area, circulating area, a cafeteria, food court and waiting rooms. The ventilation in the central passenger concourse has been taken care of by the provision of self propelled turbo ventilators. The ground water recharge is done through a pond which has a boulder lining. Special lights have been used in the premises to give a wonderful appeal at night.
