Varanasi: Field unit of Varanasi STF along with Narcotics Control Bureau, Lucknow caught five members of an interstate gang of drug peddlers in Rohaniya area on Thursday and recovered 1,320kg ganja (cannabis) worth Rs. A special secret cabin was created in the truck for smuggling the contraband. Upon checking, the contraband was found concealed in a cavity made especially for this purpose.The arrested persons were identified as Dadan Yadav, Udai Shankar Yadav, Dhruvnath Singh, all from Bihar, Jairam Vishwakarma and Surendra Mahato, both from Jharkhand. The arrested persons belong to Bihar and Jharkhand.
