Jagdhari, who had allegedly murdered a regional sports officer, said that he was going to kill a trader. The absconding miscreant is Gorakh Maurya, a resident of Haraiyya, police said. During a checking drive in Bhaduli, police spotted two suspicious-looking men on a motorcycle.When asked to stop, they opened fire on the police.The police returned the fire in which a miscreant sustained bullet injuries while the other fled on the motorcycle.The injured miscreant was sent to hospital..
